You may recognize her from the Food Network, but celebrity Chef Giada De Laurentii opened a new restaurant at Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino! GDL Italian by Giada will be the first establishment opened outside of Las Vegas and will feature a blend of food from Italy and California.
What makes GDL Italian by Giada so neat is the fact that it will feature local flavor as well thanks to partnerships with Roseda Farm, JJ McDonnell & CO, and The Stone Mill Bakery. If you are looking for some items that you must try on the menu, look no further than the Charcuterie, or the pasta and pizza dish!
When asked why she wanted to open a restaurant in Baltimore De Laurentiis responded by saying that it was important for her to offer an Italian Culinary Experience that Baltimore previously did not have. In addition to the sit down restaurant GDL Italian by Giada will also feature a bar with wine on top and housemade spirits from Giada’s own recipes.
